Fibromyalgia

Fibroymalgia can commonly occur in isolation but also in paralell to ME/CFS. Our research collaboration with SoftCellBio (Utah, United States), will enable us to follow-up on preliminary findings demonstrating both an increased abundance and different composition of l-form (cell-wall-less/"stealth-like") bacteria in Fibromyalgia.

We also aim to replicate findings suggesting a higher abundance of l-forms in ME/CFS patients that also presented with Fibromyalgia as a co-morbid condition.
